CCI Nutrition Programs:
In-school Nutrition program
CCI
provides nutritious snacks to students in various locations through the
school (e.g. library, office, guidance, some classrooms) where they are
freely accessible to all students. Snacks include crackers, granola
bars, fruit, cheese, yogurt, vegetables and dip. While we do receive
some funding through the Eat Well to Excel program, it only covers a
small portion of our food expenses. We rely on CCI community's support
to allow us to continue our enhanced in-school nutrition program.
Helping Hands Backpack program
On
a weekly basis, CCI supports a number of families in need by providing
healthy food including fruits, vegetables, dairy, cereals, canned goods,
pasta, etc for consumption at home. This year, this program is solely
funded by the generosity of our community.
If
you are interested in making an online donation, log into your School
Cash Online account and click on the “Make a Donation” button to launch
the donation portal. If you don’t have a School Cash Online, you can
donate as a guest.

You
will then be able to choose your gift amount, select our school, and an
initiative that you would like to support (Eat Well to Excel or
Backpack Program).
Tax receipts are issued for donations regardless of denomination,
upon completion of transaction. We thank you in advance for your
support of our school!
Acknowledgement and permission form/student information computing
technology appropriate use agreement 2025-26
The 2025-26 Acknowledgement and Permission Form and Student Information
Computing Technology Appropriate Use Agreement are required forms for all SCDSB
students. The forms have been made available electronically through SchoolCash
Online until Oct. 13. SchoolCash Online is the preferred method for forms. If you are
unable to submit these forms electronically, please contact the office for paper copies.
Student accident insurance 2025-26
The SCDSB does not provide accident insurance coverage for student injuries that occur
on school premises, at board-sponsored events, or during school extracurricular
activities (e.g., athletics, clubs, etc.). However, accidents can and do happen. Injuries
can result in substantial expenses that are not covered by the SCDSB or provincial
health care. If families do not have existing or sufficient extended health or dental
coverage, a variety of plans and benefits at reasonable annual prices can be found
through either:
• StudyInsured at www.studyinsuredstudentaccident.com or by calling 1-833-560-
0527; or,
• Insure my Kids at www.insuremykids.com or by calling 1-800-463-5437.
Participation in extracurricular activities (e.g., athletics, clubs, etc.) require the purchase
of this insurance, or other extended health and dental coverage
